Guidance Notes for Authors

The Yearbook welcomes three types of publications: longer academic articles (15,000-25,000 words), shorter academic articles (6,000-15,000 words) and notes, comments, and book reviews.

For questions of style, follow The Chicago Manual of Style (16th edition). For references the “notes and bibliography” system of documentation is to be followed. At first mention of any work cited, please give full details in the footnote. Subsequent citations need only to include a short form. As long as fool footnotes are provided, a bibliography is not necessary. If you refer to sources in Russian language, please use Latin transcription.
