Vinnova funds Human Rights Clinic

9 July 2019

The Faculty of Law has been running a Human Rights Clinic since 2016, funded by Vinnova. The clinic was recently awarded additional funding of SEK 2.3 million.

The funding from Vinnova makes it possible for the Faculty of Law’s Human Rights Clinic to continue its work to reinforce the law programme and strengthen the protection of the rights of vulnerable groups in society.

The clinic will be held in the autumn 2019 term with two orientations: a general human rights track and a migration law track. The general human rights clinic will be arranged in collaboration with Civil Rights Defenders and the migration law clinic in collaboration with the Swedish Refugee Law Center (formerly the Refugee advice Centre).

You must have completed T6 or the equivalent to be eligible to participate in the Human Rights Clinic. You are invited to submit an application, which must include a cover letter in which you explain why you want to participate in the clinic and your preferred track, as well as a writing sample (in English or Swedish) and a list of your grades to by 1 August 2019.
