Juristprogrammet fortsatt den mest sökta utbildningen i Uppsala

Juristprogrammet ligger stadigt kvar i topp som det mest sökta programmet vid Uppsala universitet inför vårens antagningar. Till årets terminstart ansökte totalt 3862 personer till 234 platser.
Söktrycket har liksom tidigare år varit högt inför vårens kursstart. Konkurrensen är stor om de dryga 200 platserna som erbjuds varje termin på Uppsala universitets juristprogram. Sedan starten av antagning även till vårterminen, VT 2010, ligger programmet stabilt på en första plats som den mest eftertraktade utbildningen att söka på Uppsala universitet.
Många sökte även till Juridiska institutionens översiktskurser som ges nu under våren. Till Juridisk översiktskurs (15 hp halvfart) sökte totalt 325 personer till 52 platser, och till motsvarande kurs som ges via distans på Uppsala universitet Campus Gotland, Nätbaserad juridisk översiktskurs (15 hp halvfart), ansökte denna gång
1389 personer till våra 800 platser.
Antalet studenter från Juristprogrammet som sökt till institutionens internationella studentutbytesprogram kommande läsår har också ökat markant. Det nya rekordet noterades på 196 ansökningar då ansökningstiden gick ut den sista januari, att jämföras med 150 sökande förra året.
– Det är naturligtvis mycket glädjande att vårt juristprogram och vårt kursutbud fortsätter att vara så populära, det visar att vi har lyckats skapa högkvalitativa, attraktiva utbildningar, säger prefekt Bengt Domeij, och fortsätter:
– Vi ser också fram emot en vår där vi successivt kan återgå till en mer normal studie- och arbetsmiljö för både lärare och studenter.
