Four employees and former employees at Uppsala University are awarded the older Gustaf Adolf Medal for significant contributions. The recipient of the older Gustaf Adolf Medal in gold is Professor Mattias Dahlberg.
Professor Mattias Dahlberg became Professor of Financial Law at the Faculty of Law in 2006. Mattias is rewarded for being a tireless champion of the faculty's interests as Vice Dean and Dean for seven years. He strengthened and developed the faculty's activities, concerning everything from new strategies, physical work environment, younger colleagues' development to international master's courses - always with the faculty's best interests as an unwavering guiding light.
Mattias is knowledgeable, loyal and his sense of right and justice has been of great benefit to the university.
